Maxi 1 Capricorno - Built by King Marine 2025 @Gianfrancoforza

Saint-Tropez, October 2025 – Django 7X, helmed by Giovanni Lombardi Stronati, has claimed victory in the prestigious IMA Maxi Grand Prix at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2025. Demonstrating speed, skill, and consistency across demanding windward-leeward races, Django secured its third consecutive win in the event's Maxi Grand Prix class, always a big test of cutting-edge design and teamwork.

Despite having the shortest waterline in the fleet, Django 7X outperformed larger rivals, finishing decisively ahead on corrected time in a number of races on the Baie de Pampelonne.

Vasco Vascotto: “An incredible day — honestly, it’s a pleasure to sail on this boat built by King Marine. In just five months, we’ve achieved results that seemed impossible until now”

In the Maxi 1 class, Capricornio achieved an impressive second place, narrowly beaten by V, but coming in ahead of the rest of a fiercely competitive field of the world’s most advanced Maxi yachts.

Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez remains a pinnacle celebration of Maxi sailing, where tradition meets innovation in the heart of the French Riviera.
